Even though today was my 6th day back at work, it was my 1st day dropping Wes off at daycare. Last week Ben was home with him and on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week our babysitter, Kristen, came to the house. I thought this nice gradual transition would make today easier. It didn't work. I feel that the act of dropping him off at daycare is like abandoning him in some weird way. I'm hoping it gets better. I've asked Ben to drop him off tomorrow... I'm hoping that will save me some tears.

Sniff Sniff
