Crazy Sleeper

Our mornings tend to go like this... I get up and peak in on Wes. I giggle to myself and quickly go back into the bedroom and tell Ben, "You have to go look at Wes!". We both tiptoe into his room, look at Wes, and then smile to eachother. You see, Wes is a wild sleeper. You never know what position he decided to sleep in for the night. Will he be sideways, butt up in the air, head pressed up against the top of the crib, head down by where his feet usually go...? I think Ben and I are in for trouble when he is older and crawls into our bed because of a bad dream or a thunderstorm.

The one thing you can be certain of is that he is ALWAYS on his belly. This frightened me at first when I would find him this way. They tell you to always have your baby sleep on their back. I used to quickly roll him back over, but he'd always make his way back onto his tummy. It has gotten so that after I feed him at night I will place him down on his back and he will immediately roll onto his belly. He seems to really like it and he has been sleeping really well. What to do? I think Wes is winning that battle. None-the-less, thank you Wes for giving your daddy and me our first smiles of the day. :)

The second picture looks like he is trying to tuck his feet under the bumper pad for cover....hmmm...he might like the footed pj's after all :-)

I think you are right! I'm going to have to use that picture against Ben's theory. :)
