Life with Two

I think I've got this two kid thing down pat. :) I have to say that Wesley broke me in though. During my first maternity leave I basically sat on the couch all day holding Wes for the first several weeks. No joke! Wesley would wake up about 8:30ish or so and we'd head down and start our day. I would always get him dressed, but I mostly stayed in my yoga pants and T-shirts and never bothered to do my hair and make-up. I don't even remember making dinner much because I (thought) I was so busy taking care of and playing with Wes. I was even able to nap here and there.

Well, here I am 20.5 months later on my 2nd maternity leave. Wesley wakes me up bright and early and Addie follows about an hour or so later. I dress the kids AND myself (plus do my hair and make-up) and then spend the day playing, cleaning the house, changing lots of diapers, feeding kids, calming a crying baby, and on top of it all I have been cooking really nice meals that are ready to eat by 5:30pm. I completely rock it out if I do say so myself. :)

Thank you babies for making me an efficient, multitasking, coffee drinking, Super Mom! Oh... and thanks for toning up my arms from all the kid lifting. :)
