When I was little I remember my mom singing, "I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair" from South Pacific during bathtime. I was always puzzled by the words, but it was a lot of fun to sing. I've carried on the tradition with Wes, but we had to change up the words a bit. I think he likes it as much as I did. All I need to do now is find a way to get him to like brushing his teeth...Every other night Wes gets to take a bath with Addie. He loves those nights. I let him help wash her hair and feet. He also likes to pour water over her belly to keep her warm. What a caring big brother he is (well, all except for that one time when he tried to bite her head...).

The words come from a song from "South Pacific" the musical. Which you know, I love them all. For some reason this song always comes to mind when it's time to wash the hair. I guess because of the catchy tune.
