Every Saturday morning Wesley will ask Ben or I to do Legos with him. He can totally do them himself, but he likes to have a Lego assistant. His Lego assistant digs through the piles and finds him the next few pieces that he will need to complete his build. Sometimes Ben and I draw straws to see who will be the Lego assistant. Just kidding, most of the time I volunteer because I secretly love playing with Legos. I used to play them with my brother when he would let me. He had this super cool castle and knight set. But I digress... Wesley will build them up, take them apart and then repeat the process all over again another day. He has built a few of his set so many times that I don't know why he needs to look at the directions anymore.
"Mommy, will you play Legos with me?"
"Sure will, Buddy. Let me fill up my coffee cup and I'll be right over."
WANTED: Part time Lego assistant. All volunteers welcome. Must be willing to work unpaid, but who needs money when you see an almost 4 year old beam with joy. (Plus his parents need the extra cash to buy these Lego sets.) Apply today! :)
