Addie picked out her first pumpkin this year. Okay, not really. She was kind of tired and not quite in the pumpkin picking out mood so we grabbed a pumpkin on her behalf. :)
Wesley had fun helping to carve pumpkins this year. We followed up pumpkin carving with a family viewing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Unfortunately, after this year Wes probably won't think The Great Pumpkin is so great. We went out on a limb and told him that if he gave his paci (or "zah" as he named it) to The Great Pumpkin that he would leave behind a toy. The timing must have been good, because he went to bed that night without his paci and hasn't had it since. YAY! I've wanted this to happen all year. The new Legos must have really helped soften the blow. :)
