Wesley told us he wanted to be a monkey for Halloween this year and so I went out and found this super cute costume for him. I also found this adorable little kitty costume for Addie. The day before Halloween Wesley came to me and said, "Mama, I want to be Batman for Halloween." This struck me totally by surprise since he had seemed to love his monkey suit. I wasn't about to run out and spend money on another costume, so I checked out my craft and sewing supplies on hand and determined I could make a Batman costume. While the kids napped I whipped him up a cape and mask. I think he ended up pretty happy with it. Luckily, I was able to still talk him into getting some pics of him in the original monkey suit. Let's hope this is the ONLY year that he winds up with two costumes.
Kyler came and joined us again for trick-or-treating. Wes loved going house to house even more than last year. They were all so much fun to watch.
